Someone willing to talk? This book destroyed me and I think I need therapy to endure the wait and pain until next year.

So, I'll need to wait another year to know what happens next... Not fair Sarah J. Maas, not fair.
I know there's another book coming but really, I just don't care much for Chaol at the time.

Why did I read Queen Of Shadows so fast?
Dammit, this happens every damn year.
I read the damn book way too fast and I don't think about the consequences.
The consequences being I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER EFFING YEAR AGAIN TO READ ABOUT ROWAN!

OMFG sameeeeee i swear i read this in less then half a day and no matter where i am i managed to keep reading it. When i'm done i'm like wtf where am i lol

Me too!!! I just re-read the entire series again, I highly recommend it!! Especially the fourth book, as now I'm a bit suspicious of several things actually. Where as in the initial read, I was so happy and excited for the triumph of the characters. Now, however.......I worry about Rowen-where was he during the final night in the stone castle?? This is one of many little things I noticed.......plus I really did love re-reading the Rowen and Aelin parts!
I also read the Rowen and Alin parts over and over again its just amazing. I love how Sarah J. Maas just rights her books. she is just amazing i looooove her so much. And i hope she wrights a lot mooore. soooo excited about the next book!!!
Ikr! Rowan is my man! You always read it fast and then wonder that you should have slowed down, and anticipating for the next one which won't be out in a while... And feels like an eternity.

same!! I read in Leeds than a day! I promised myself that I wouldn't do that, but I can't help it! QOS was filled with plot twists and surprises that I just couldn't stop! I'm hoping to see more of Philippa in the next one! I feel like she can be a motherly figure to Dorian! I also WANT NOX!!!!!! I want so much more but those are the the two major ones

Same - I just finished reading the series for the 5th time, and then I went and read all the parts from Rowan's point of view. I don't know what I'm going to do for a year...
I totally understand!!!! I can't believe we have to wait that freakin' long yet it's worth it.

The consequences also involve retreading the same book four times sine it has come out and being unable to get into any other books bc they don't even come close to sjm's books and comparing EVERYTHING to it

I read queen of shadows in a day and I was like awww man now I have to wait for an entire year to read the next book and if it isn't the last book in the series I'm pretty sure it'll end with a cliffhanger just like the ones before it ... Come to think of it , Sarah.J.Maas has actually proven that she's very good at this cliffhanger thing and I can't freaking wait...

I agree! I need more Aelin and Rowan in the next book because I just love there storyline zo much! Also I need the next book like yesterday, just saying
THE STRUGGLE IS WAY TOO REAL. I READ BOOKS 1-4 IN A WEEK (BECAUSE IM A READOHOLIC) AND NOW I AM REGRETTING IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH. I WANT THE NEXT BOOOK TO COME QUICK, BUT MY LIFE WILL END ONCE THE SERIES ENDS SO FML.
OMG ikr!! I preordered the book and literally almost strangled my postman when he was handing it over to me. Then I laid seige on my own bed and wouldn't move till I read the entire darn thing. And omg was it worth it lol. But yeah, now I gotta wait till the end of the year to read the next one, which sucks because by that time Rowan will be some lost elf puppy in my ever ageing memories. XD.
