Another in the Fortunes of Prospect series, in which Faye Parker agrees to assist when LA chef Brian Caruso arrives to do a cooking competition show to enhance the already-famous reputation of the late Sadie, the Cookie lady.

Faye immediately connects with Brian's teen-age daughter, but getting involved with him can only bring on heartache. After all, she doesn't plan to leave Prospect, CO and the restaurant her grandparents have owned for years and that she runs, and Brian is an LA chef and fully intends to go back there after the judging is done and film of the contest is in the can.

Trouble is, all isn't well when Brian and Gemma leave Prospect. Not for them or for Faye, who can't seem to get them out of her head or heart. What to do now?
