Rome (Marked Men, #3)

Another great book in the Marked Men series!
Rome is Rule's older brother and has always played the role of protector in the Archer family. When he returns from his last tour of duty and is moody and grumpy, Rule and his friends don't know how to help him. Rome struggles with the aftermath of war and the secrets his family kept from him and tries to drink away the pain. Cora is cute, sassy and not afraid to voice her opinion and she dubs Rome, "Captain No-Fun". She is so stuck on finding the "perfect" guy, that she doesn't realize that Rome just might be the one for her.
What I love most about these books, besides the hot guys, are the friendships. This group of friends protects and supports each other like family. It's fun getting to see a continuation of each couple's story with every book, especially Rule and Shaw in this installment.

"You're so full of color, so vibrant you never get lost in all the gray in my head. I don't want to lose that."

“I don't have a ring. I don't have a pretty speech prepared. All I know is that I love you more than life itself and I want every single person in this room to know that I want you forever, Shaw Landon. I love you. Marry me."
Typical Rule: he didn't ask, he just told her.
"Be an Archer. Be mine.”
