While I had no problem with Viv and her motivations, hey I lived through the 80's and I totally get it, I didn't quite believe Carlys. Maybe if she had Heathers personality it would've worked better. Switch those two and, yeah, I could see it.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the story. A fairly quick, spooky hotel + serial killer, read.
