In these original and readable stories, Murata’s creativity and unique worldview shine brilliantly, challenging the reader’s preconceived notions about the world they live in. There are some interesting existential/religious/cultural questions embedded here that confront societal norms and I had

Apollos’s last review of the year

liked it
Three short interconnected stories revolving around a few friends in domestic settings. Feels deeper than what is happening on the surface, though by the end I wasn’t really sure what to make of the stories, nor was I compelled to particularly care. 😅
