In an earlier interview with Curly Tales Middle East, Varun Dhawan shared that his first paycheck was of Rs 5,000, which he earned while interning at Mukul Anand's production house. During this internship, he assisted on an advertisement shoot featuring former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Dhawan also mentioned that he was scolded by Mirza's mother during the shoot. Additionally, in an interview with The Economic Times, he revealed that he gave his first paycheck to his mother.
