BEDFORD - Kathryn Lesley Forester passed away Aug.16, 2022.
Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, in Greenwood Chapel.

She was born to Sam Henry Hurley and Iris Anita Hurley on March 11, 1958, in Landstuhl, Germany.
Kathy graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst. She then went on to become a cosmetologist in the HEB area for 40 plus years. She had many clientele (friends) who were like family to her, and she to them. Kathy had a special place in her heart for the girls she worked with, built over many years of being there for one another.
Kathy was a God loving Christian who followed Jesus and his teachings. She loved her family and the grandkids brought her great pleasure as she watched them and interacted with them as they grew. She enjoyed doing crafts, decorating and dressing up with her friends at the salon on Halloween.
Kathy and her husband, Ron, were married for over 45 years. It was a great and amazing journey.
Preceded in death by her father, Sam Henry Hurley.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Forester; son, Brandon Lee Forester and wife, Cindy Renee Forester; daughter, Crystal Lee Vaughn and husband, Jackie Wayne Vaughn; grandsons, Briggs Lee Forester and Braxton Lee Forester; granddaughters, Sophia Leigh Mack and husband, Craig Bell, Liberty Leigh Vaughn and Bailey Nicole Vaughn; mother, Iris Anita Hurley; sisters, Glynis Anne Griffiths and Beverly Jean Aldridge; and brother, David Neil Hurley.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and whose lives she touched.
