- Applications open in October and March.
- Pay for recent graduate positions starts at the GS-7 to GS-9 pay grade. Compensation varies based on location with promotional opportunities to the GS-9, -11, and -12 grade levels.
- Recent graduates are converted to permanent positions with successful performance in the program.

Eligibility
You must be a:
- U.S. citizen.
- Recent graduate who has completed a qualifying associate, bachelor’s, master’s, professional, doctorate, or vocational degree or a technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the two previous years.
Veterans unable to apply within two years of receiving their degree because of military service have up to six years to apply.

Acquisition Talent Development Program
Our cohort-based Acquisition Talent Development Program, or ATD Program, is a two-year training and development program for future federal acquisition professionals in the 1102 job series. As a participant of our ATD Program, you will benefit from:
- Real-world experience as an acquisition professional through our outcomes-focused training and dynamic on-the-job training assignments.
- GSA-specific credentialing.
- Completion of all classes necessary to take the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) professional exam, a certification required for all contracting professionals in the federal government.
