Remington 870 12 Ga. Shotgun w/ Mag Extension, ATI Folding Stock, and Surefire 618 DFL Forearm **MINTY**

Description:
If you have been looking for the ultimate home or auto defense weapon this is it!  It has been customized to be the perfect weapon for any self defense situation. This Remington 870 Express is a 12 gauge gun with a tough parkerized factory finish.  The 18.5" inch barrel is choked "Cylinder" to fire a wide pattern but can also handle slug rounds.  The previous owner bought it new in 2006 and fired 6 shells thru it one time.  The factory stock was replaced with a lightweight polymer Advanced Technologies top-folding stock.  The stock locks in the folded or extended position and is built to withstand heavy recoil and rough use, and comes with a sling swivel stud already installed.  When in the folded position the stock does not impede the function of the shotgun whatsoever, and allows the 870 to be used easily in tight quarters.  The stock's arm is also pre-drilled to allow fitting of a shotgun shell "saddle" which is visible on the top when it's folded.  Theoretically you could mount a saddle on both the receiver and the stock, giving you 6 to 8 rounds of additional ammo on board.  A plus-2 magazine extension was added in place of the factory magazine cap and gives this 870 a capacity of 5 plus one in the chamber.  A barrel band support was installed on the mag extension, and the barrel band has the upper sling swivel stud factory installed.  The biggest upgrade was the addition of a Surefire Model 618 DFL 870 lighted forearm.  This Surefire forearm was the best available when bought new in 2006.  It features a LED Surefire light mounted in the forearm along with a on/off rocker switch on the left side, and a pressure activated momentary on/off pad that runs the length of the right side.  It is waterproof and nearly indestructible.  It puts out 80 lumens of light which is enough to blind a would be attacker, and has a run time of 3 hours on two CR123 batteries.  As you can see in the pictures, this whole package is in excellent condition.  The only place there is any wear showing whatsoever is on the action bars and the lower left side of the barrel from the forearm rubbing on it when the action is worked.  The bore is perfect in this Remington, there is no pitting, dents, or bulges visible.  To outfit a new Remington 870 in this manner would cost several hundred dollars more than the listing price.  This is a chance to get one with all the customizing work already done and ready to go to the range or farm.
