Nursery
Our nursery offers a nurturing environment for 22 children who are 3-4 years old.
We are dedicated to providing outstanding early years education that develops happy, confident children, who are equipped with the skills to become lifelong learners and reach their full potential.
We offer core funded (as applicable) hours between 9am and 3.30pm, Monday-Friday during term-time. Children can join us any time during the academic year.
Halley House nursery is overseen by Nursery Manager Antionette Mattison, who reports directly to the Deputy Headteacher and the Headteacher.

Curriculum
We offer an exceptional start to our families’ experience of the Halley House curriculum, values and ethos. The nursery class is utterly part of our school approach and, as such, accesses a range of activities and trips off-site throughout the year. We offer a wide variety of activities for toddlers such as:
- Outdoor adventures
- Specialist Art classes
- Specialist Physical Education lessons
- Weekly music sessions
All the above at no extra costs for families!
To support our local community with childcare costs, we offer a ZERO deposit rate. See our full set of fees here.

Facilities
Our nursery is situated alongside the Reception classroom on the third floor of our building. The space has direct access onto the secured roof terrace, and shares toilet facilities with the Reception class. Additional security and access measures at both the main entrance to the building and the door off the stairwell are in place, such as video recording and a number of security-fobbed doors.
Tours
Come for a tour and see how happy our toddlers are by emailing the Deputy Headteacher Elizabeth Waite. You’ll meet the Headteacher Mr Toby Mills-Bishop and the early years team.
