Official Pack 729 Calendar

Toledo Zoo Overnight Camp
Pack 729 has 24 scouts for the May Zoo date and only 40 spots available in total. As a result, we are restricting registration to Scouts registered in Pack 729 and one accompanying adult per family. On February 1st, if spots are still available, anyone can register who meets the Toledo Zoo requirements of being at least five years of age or in kindergarten.
In the linked packet, you will see forms that all participants are required to submit for the Zoo. Also all Scouts and adults are required to have an updated Scouting AB form prior to attending. Please submit these documents to Laura Rodgers in person or at [email protected] by May 6th, 2025.
You can order a custom souvenir shirt for the event at: https://connect.toledozoo.org/events/22187

Wayne-Westland Veterans Memorial Day Parade
We will be handing out flags at the front of the parade. This serves as our first summer activity of the season.

Scout Night at Jimmy John's Field
Our 2nd summer event will be at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica. Families can choose to just attend the game for $22 or sleepover on the field (you can tent, but cannot stake your tent into the ground) for $32. The sleepover will include juice, coffee and donuts. Either ticket will include hot dog, bag of chips, soft drink or water, and a scout patch.

Archery at Detroit Archers
We will be meeting at the Detroit Archers Club in West Bloomfield to have lunch (please bring your own drink for the day, the Pack will provide the food), hike the trails on the property (hopefully see some wildlife!), and of course the scouts favorite, have some fun shooting with bows and arrows!

Blue & Gold
The Blue & Gold is our annual banquet where we celebrate the birthday of Scouting, get awards, and send off our Arrow of Light Scouts to their Troops.
