Step by Step
Feel the essence of Rome on two wheels by touring it on a Vespa, the classic scooter made in Italy.
To rent a Vespa, all you need is a valid driver's licence to drive in the country, or if you prefer, you can do the tour on a Vespa with a driver, who will also be your guide specialised in the history of the 'Eternal City'.
You will ride your scooter around the most representative sites of the Italian capital for about 3 hours:
- Rione Monti and Trastevere: two of Rome's most iconic neighbourhoods, which divide the city by districts. Its picturesque streets, with Renaissance, Baroque and Medieval architecture are a delight for tourists.
- Colosseum: the city's most important icon, the Imperial-era entertainment arena where gladiators battled to the death against each other and wild beasts before a crowd of Romans.
- Circus Maximus: the ruins of the stadium that was the epicentre of the Roman Games, inaugurated in the 6th century BC with a seating capacity of over 300,000 people.
- Orange Garden: offers one of the most beautiful views of Rome, between green areas and orange trees, which transmit a magnetic harmony for tourists.
- Pantheon of Agrippa: inaugurated in 125 AD, the legendary Pantheon has a dome of 4535 tons, built entirely of mass concrete, the largest in the world.
In addition to discovering the monuments where the sacred history of Rome was written, your driver will park the motorbike to offer you an idyllic walk through Piazza Navona, a romantic space that hides under its floor the ruins of the ancient Stadium of Domitian.
As you enter Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, you will be able to take pictures of the equestrian statue dedicated to this important hero of the Italian revolution.
And of course, to complete your Vespa trip, you will be sure to return to Rome by tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain, the most famous fountain in the Italian capital.
