We also want to give a big shoutout to our state, county, and city road crews for ensuring our roads and school campuses are safe and ready to go 🚍
Due to the snow and ice still remaining on some of our roadways and sidewalks, Henderson County Schools will be on a one-hour delay on Monday, January 13th. This delay will allow for improved road visibility and safer travel for everyone tomorrow morning.

Our dedicated staff have been working tirelessly to clear parking lots, sidewalks, and debris & limbs around each of our schools. Their hard work ensures our facilities are safe and ready when it’s time to welcome students back to school!
Due to the winter weather affecting the roads and sidewalks in our area, Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th will be NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) Virtual Days for Henderson County Schools. Additionally, all childcare centers will be closed for the remainder of the week.
As a reminder, tomorrow January 6, there will be no school. Additionally, all HCS childcare centers will be closed tomorrow, January 6. The board of education office will be closed with staff working remotely.
In the coming days, it is likely that we will be utilizing NTI as our mode of instruction. Please begin to make preparations should we have to do NTI beginning Tuesday, January 7.

🎶✨ Get Ready for Some Holiday Cheer! ✨🎶 Join us for the North Middle School South Middle School, and Henderson County High School Band and Choir Holiday Concerts! These talented students have been working hard to bring you the sounds of the season.

We are so grateful to the Henderson County Family YMCA - Official Site for providing the "Safety Around Water" program for all of our 3rd grade students this year! This week the Bend Gate Elementary School Gators had a chance to dive into the lessons 🏊♀️
A huge thank you to the Henderson Fire Department for entertaining & educating our students this week with Fire Safety Prevention 🧯🔥 The Harry Potter theme made it a magical and fun experience for all of our students. 🪄✨
