About Us

Our Story

In 2016, our family moved to our farm. We decided we wanted to expand our livestock knowledge and grow a farm by raising more animals. We originally moved onto our farm with chickens for eggs and expanded to meat birds. Then, we decided we wanted to start raising pigs. When Jason went to pick up our first one, he ended up coming home with three little pigs and one pregnant pig. Within a short few months, our farm went from four pigs to fourteen because of the offspring. Raising the pigs gave us more confidence, which led us to venture out to cattle, goats, rabbits, quail, ducks, a donkey, and a peacock. Hilltop Family Farm has now turned into something full of life and livestock. A small family farm that is run by a local family, who loves their animals, supports their community, and strives to give their animals the best life they can. We always say our animals only have one bad day.
