Xbox One Error E100 Code indicates a hardware update malfunction. According to Microsoft's troubleshooting website, this error is caused by a failed hardware update.

The site recommends contacting Microsoft support, and indicates your console will require repair.

It is possible a reboot may correct the issue, but current indications are the error indicates a bricked console. You may go back through the retailer you purchased the console from in order to quickly receive a new console right away rather than going through Microsoft, which will repair the console over the course of a few weeks. This is the recommended course of action, though not the only one, as Microsoft's return times do promise to be hastened.
