Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter was the 39th president of the United States. He served as a one-term president and was a member of the Democratic Party. After his presidency, Carter focused on humanitarian efforts including volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and eradicating the Guinea worm. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his efforts to maintain peace negotiations. Carter passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 100.
