Chris Sharman Director
Chris has been a director at JLD for a number of years and co-founded JLD Driver Training Ltd. His extensive industry knowledge and experience is what has led JLD to its greatness today. You can either find Chris out instructing in our HGV’s or in the office where he can offer advice and guidance on our extensive training portfolio.
Nick Beasley
MHE Instructor
Nick is our MHE Senior Instructor and has over 25 years of experience within the industry. Over the years Nick has gained a large portfolio of not only lift trucks but classroom courses too. He is a great asset to JLD and offers great advice and guidance throughout all of his courses in order to ensure your success! Nick also teaches our First Aid and CPC courses, every one he has conducted has received out of this world feedback, proving that Nick is a true asset to JLD.

Jason Whatmore HGV Instructor
Jason is an amazing instructor and has amazing teaching techniques to ensure his learners are test ready every time! Jason’s expertise, patience, and dedication make all the difference in shaping our learner drivers for success. Jason has also gained his 3a examiner qualification which allows him to examine the 3a reverse/uncouple, recouple test. The feedback we receive from Jason’s candidates is fantastic and continuously positive!
Lauren Sharman Director
Lauren has been working at JLD for over 7 years and manages the day-to-day running of the business. Just some of the many areas she covers are the accounts, diary management, HR, awarding body accreditations, audits and much more. Lauren ensures the BTS run smoothly so you can enjoy your course without any stress!
Gabby Voicaru HGV Instructor
Gabby is one of the newest members of the JLD team but has fit in like a glove since day one. His expertise within the industry have transferred over to instruction which has been proved by the copious amounts of excellent feedback we receive from all of the candidates he trains!
Gabby has an eye for detail which enables him to perfect your driving skills so that you, the candidate, are ready for your test! Gabby has years of experience within the industry so you can be rest assured you are in the best hands if Gabby is your instructor!

Kevin Harris
HGV Instructor
Kevin has worked at JLD for many years and although he has recently retired he helps cover our courses when others are off as well as conducting the 3a and Mod 4 examinations. With years of experience within the industry Kev’s knowledge can be transferred to the courses he teaches and examines which enables the learners to go into their test confident! Kev is a great asset to the JLD team.
