Welcome to JustAnswer. Thank you for reaching assistance with us. I am sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing.
My name is ***** ***** I will be more than happy to assist today and I will do my best to get the issue resolved.
May I know who do I have the pleasure of speaking with ?
Nice to meet you Daniel.
Just to make sure i fully understand the issue, ACC module was replaced and you are not able to code it correctly, would that be correct ?
Thank you for confirming the issue. The best way to code the new module, is to retrieve the coding from the original module. You can connect the old module, retrieve the coding and write it down, then you will be able to code the new one.
Do you have access to a Vagcom ?
Okay, that should do the trick. By reconnecting module, you will be able to retrieve the correct coding.
It should not, since the only module replaced was the ACC. The other modules should keep their coding, even if they were disconnected.
Yes of course. You will be able to reach out with me here for a follow up.
You are very welcome.
Normally, the dealership code the module online or using the old module coding. It will be complicated to code the module with the code you will find online since there are many variant of SQ5 in the world. If you don't have the choice, i would suggest trying them one by one, until the fault incorrectly coded goes away.
Are you still there Daniel. Is there anything else i could do to help you with the issue ?
Sounds good. You are very welcome. It has been a pleasure to assist you Daniel.

Thank you for choosing JustAnswer, and have a great evening.
I'm doing well too, thanks.
The old module code would be the correct one to use.
I am not used to the Autel scanners, but normally, you should be able to enter the same code that the original module was coded.
No, the module should be able to get coded. I am used to recode modules with ODIS or a VagCom. I could not say how it needs to be performed with the Autel scanner. With both ODIS or VagCom, there is no need to login to a secure gateway in order to code these modules.
Did you try a different coding to see if the message "request out of range" come on ?
Component protection active, do you have a function in the scanner to turn off the protection ?
If you clear these faults, are they all coming back on ?
Are you able to clear the component protection fault if a different coding is used ?
Is the ACC module OEM and has the same part number as the old one ?
I just did some research about it.
What is happening is that sometimes, the modules are updated when coded online, that may be the reason why the anterior coding does not enter, the component protection will need to be removed using ODIS, Username / Password ***** tech, and then the module will be updated and calibrated automatically. Depending on the module that is replaced, sometimes we are able to do it manually, sometimes not. Since the vehicle is a 2018, it is possible that it will requires to be performed automatically and online with ODIS.
You are very welcome Daniel.
