Customer: I'm trying to wire a bathroom vent with heater and light. They currently have 2 sets of14 gage romex from the switch to the accessory. If I turn 3 of the wires to shot wire, will the remaining 1 wire be sufficient to carry all 3 neatraul (white) leads back down from the vent heater light accessory?
Contractor's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: The bathroom has a light and heater combo now, but I want to add a vent to get the moisture and #2 smells out of there when needed.
Contractor's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes!
Contractor's Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I'm planning on a full remodel of the bathroom later, just don't have the funds to do all that now. But the heater is broken so I wanted to add the vent/heater/ light combo now if it is possible with the 2 14 gage leads that are currently there. If I have to I can rip out some Sheetrock and add another wire.
Contractor's Assistant: Just to clarify, are you working with a contractor?
Customer: No

If there is only one circuit from a single breaker the single neutral will be adequate for all of the loads.
Is this a dedicated circuit?
A bigger concern is the size of the heater. What is the watt rating?
To be safe on a 15 amp circuit (the largest breaker that #14 should be protected with) the total load should not exceed 12 amps or approximately 1400 watts for the heater.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you
Thank you very much for the excellent rating
