Pros (+) Staff was terrific, especially Ray the valet parking guy, who gave us a private tour of the area. Evening free cookies in the lobby are delicious and the market selection of foods in the lobby is great when a substantial snack is all you need.
Cons (-) It would be nice if their cafe were open all day.

It's fairly centrally located, at least for what we were in Los Angeles to do on this trip. 7-8 miles from Santa Monica, 7ish miles from Griffith Observatory. Cons (-) Minor issues: slow shower drain, horrific in-room coffee (there's a cafe w/Starbucks on site) and W Olympic Blvd is LOUD. The windows keep a lot of the noise out, we thought it was manageable.
