While millions of Americans will have to pay for COVID-19 vaccines if they aren’t insured, Arizonans will remain covered thanks to the state health department.
Though the five-day isolation period is no longer recommended for COVID patients, the CDC still encourages masking in public for up to ten days after diagnosis.

In the past week, the CDC found in Region 9, which includes Arizona, California and Nevada, test positivity was at 15.6%, making it the region with the highest positivity rate.
There are a couple new Coronavirus variants that are making waves, but it doesn’t seem to be anything new. Two local health officials said that while the new KP.2 variant is said to have a 28% infection rate, it has not even reached southern Arizona, yet.
