I forgot how fantastic these guys were.

Great band, been a fan since hearing Cut Some Rug on a pub jukebox in 1995.

One of my all time favorite bands, been a big fan since 2000 or so, and in America that's a rarity, NO ONE knows who these guys are here. Sadly missed but never forgotten!

Underrated as fick.

My first proper gig at 16, (96) in Exeter and my band of that era. Watched them right through to the end, gents and madmen. Brilliant.

Always kind of overlooked this band, but reeled in their whole discography now and I've got to admit they're brilliant. Starting to become a favourite.

Wish they made Rescue Rooms as one of their final tour dates, good memories of them playing there.

Gutted that these guys are splitting up. They write such affecting songs. You always knew a Bluetones release was going to be great, no matter what. Although they evolved, a Bluetones album was always a Bluetones album. Great stuff.

First gig I ever went to. And I grew up in Hounslow too.

Good to see Slight Return not at the top! :-P Oh so many great tracks, but their debut album is a perfect record. Seen them a couple of times live here in Cardiff, gonna catch them on their last gig here too. I shook their hands last time! :-D Gonna miss you guys mentally. Love.

Will be missed, and known forevermore as a Britpop band that recorded a minor classic while Britpop was in its death throes. Never released a bad album, the latest was their best since 'Science and Nature'. Awra best!

The Bluetones will be doing one final tour in September before they call it a day. Tour dates are all up on the events page. This is your last chance to see them and thank them for the past 17 years of great music. Whether you've been listening to them since the start or are just discovering them from Sleazy Bed Track being in Scott Pilgrim, I can promise they always put on a great show, and this should be a great mixed set to have one final gig with them.

@Aragorn_501 - If you enjoyed Sleazy Bed Track, it'd do you good to check out the album that song is from (Return to the Last Chance Saloon). Expecting to Fly, however, is widely regarded as one of the band's best. :)
