The story:
I owe UOB credit card and personal loan which I restructured sometime in 2013, started paying my monthly instalment but the credit card, with minimum amount and accrued interest, still kept coming.
I called up the person in charge, Jennifer, telling her that I thought we have re-structured the amount owe into term loan but how come I still received my credit card statement, she told me to IGNORE the statement and rest assure that my account has been restructured.
I was not convinced! It has been restructured and b&w signed but you told me to IGNORE the credit card statement, another B&W, with forever piling up interest? I am not that stupid!
Plus I lost my job due to serious medical reason that time, I stopped servicing the loan.
They sent letter of demand to me end of 2013, and made me Judgement Debtor (JD) awhile after that.
In February 2018 (please refer to attached), they obtained court order to garnish my CIMB account, but the strange thing is they withdrew the Garnishing/show cause letter on March 27, 2018.
Why?
Garnished by UOB but UOB withdrawn it later

Maybe UOB got scared after Avengers Malaysia got involved...

In Feb 2018 (please refer to attached), they obtained court order to garnish my CIMB account, but the strange thing is they withdrew the Garnishing/show cause letter on Mar 27, 2018.

@all,
I believe there are a lot of lawyers, perhaps even experienced lawyers are reading and following threads on lawyerment closely.
But not sure whether DCs (Debt collectors) are doing also as I encountered a few who doesn't know what is garnishing.
