At last night’s Lake Forest School District Board meeting, five of our schools were recognized for earning the prestigious Purple Star School designation. This honor reflects their outstanding commitment to supporting military-connected students and families. The recognition coincided with the district participation in Purple Up! Day, a day dedicated to showing appreciation for the resilience and sacrifices of military children.

Hey Spartan Community! I Love Lake Forest Day will be on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10-2 on the Lake Forest High School Campus and is open to the community.
We have so many things on the schedule for the day including chorus and band performances, a student showcase, an art tent, K-9 demos, Touch-a-Truck and you can hang out with local First Responders and Sparty! Good evening Chipman families! Tomorrow is a virtual learning day. The schedule is attached to this message. In the morning, students will have time for asynchronous learning beginning at 7:30. This is a time to complete any asynchronous learning activities their teachers posted for them in their Schoology courses. Live instruction begins at 9:40, and students will log into a Zoom for each of their classes throughout the day. Zoom links are posted in each teacher’s Schoology course. Lunch is from 12:10-12:40, and there is no Period 4/MTSS class. Tomorrow is an A Day, so students should attend their A Day Exploratory class. Have a great night!
