Our leaders Mira Agzamova, Nejla Bilge Atila, and Alexandra Orlova recently shared their stories with Marketing Türkiye, discussing their backgrounds, current roles, achievements, and thoughts on the future of ad tech and the importance of role models. I agree with Bilge's idea that no matter how much we innovate, the human touch in our work is something technology can't replace. This took me back to a challenging negotiation I recently faced. With a wealth of experience in freelance marketing support for firms with ambitious goals, Peggy is a seasoned AEC Marketer. A: The people you work with do, generally speaking, care about you. But you still have to advocate for yourself. They don't know what's best for you and your family, you have to ask for what you need.    Q: #1 issue facing women in the workforce? A: Lack of affordable, consistent, safe childcare options - at all ages of childhood, from infant well into the school age years. Q: Favorite quote from a woman? A: "True self-care is not salt-baths and chocolate cake. Attending your first conference alone can be scary. The fear of being alone, not talking to anyone, and eating by yourself is there. It takes a lot of courage to push through those feelings. But guess what? It gets easier. By your second conference, you start to see familiar faces. By your third, you know even more people and it becomes more comfortable. Last week, I attended #WTSFest. Although it wasn’t my first conference, I believe it's an excellent place to start. The Women in Tech SEO community is incredibly welcoming, and you never feel alone. Walking up to people and starting conversations feels natural because everyone is eager to connect. The vibe was just amazing. What about you? What has been your experience with conferences? #GoogleBusinessProfile is essential for your Business. Recently, I have been participating in different women's #networkingplatforms where #WomenEntrepreneurs share their businesses. This helps with networking and #businessgrowth. But what I found missing is many businesses that people don't create #Google Business Profiles. It is a free and easy tool from Google that showcases and manages individuals and businesses' online presence on the Google ecosystem, including #googlemaps and #googlesearchengine.
