Tickets are on sale for the first match at the Santiago Bernabeu since March of 2020. The return comes a full 560 days after Madrid’s triumph over Barcelona — a game that saw both Vinicius JR and Mariano score to provide the killer blow against Los Blancos eternal rival. Not only will the Bernabeu be in full view, but fans will be allowed in the stadium with 40% occupancy currently approved.

The fans in attendance will get a physical perspective on all the new work completed on the stadium. In new photos released by Nuevo Bernabeu, the stadium can now be seen with the full pitch manicured and sodded:

In addition to the pitch, the tunnel walkway where the players will both enter and exit the pitch has been completed and finished in time — all ahead of the match against Celta Vigo on Sunday.

The full stadium renovation is expected to be completed before the start of the 2022-2023 season. Fans will rejoice at the prospect of watching Real Madrid once again play at their beloved Santiago Bernabeu.
