Former Arellano U standout Archie Concepcion showed his readiness for the pro league after winning the Most Valuable Player of the PBA Draft Combine's 5-on-5 tournament at the close of the two-day event on Wednesday, September 13 at the Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.

Concepcion, currently seeing action for the Pampanga Giant Lanterns in the MPBL, fired 14 points, providing the steady presence for NLEX, which squeaked past Phoenix, 78-71.
