An Innocent Request (also referred to as Girls Bonus 1 and Girls +1) is the first Girls bonus episode in the Story Mode of the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The episode is unlocked after completing both Mario's Defeat?! and The Fog Returns, and unlocks A Trick of the Wind once it is completed.

Plot[edit]

Peach, Amy and Blaze are helping the yellow, blue and purple Toads with the preparations for the Olympic Games, and are helping them sort the invitations into envelopes and mail them out. Peach and Amy look over the invitations and tell the Toads how good they are, and each find Mario and Sonic's invitations. Amy asks if she can hand deliver Sonic's invitation to him immediately, though Peach and Blaze refuse as it would take too long and they do not have much time. The Toads offer to cover Amy's workload if she delivers Sonic's invitation, though Blaze instead suggests that if Amy can beat her in an Olympic Event she will let her deliver the invitation on the condition that she stays back to help if she loses. Amy accepts the challenge, though Peach worries that this will delay Blaze's work.

Amy manages to defeat Blaze, however this causes Blaze to accidentally knock all of the invitations off the table. The group set to work picking up and sorting the invitations again, though find that when they are done they are missing Dr. Eggman's one. The group debate whether or not they should delay sending out Dr. Eggman's invitation, and Amy offers to stay behind to help rather than deliver Sonic's invitation to him.
