Kangaroo

The kangaroo is a vehicle[1] used by the Yoshis in Yoshi's Island DS. They are always in coin-filled areas sectioned away by Warp Pipes, one of which is in Mario's Fleet Feet and the other in Windblown Wilderness. A short jingle plays when Yoshi begins riding a kangaroo. The kangaroo can bounce very high and even float briefly if the player is holding

, depending on the controls. While Yoshi is riding a kangaroo, the baby on his back appears to not be shown, but the baby returns when the Yoshi stops riding the kangaroo by the end.
