The 'Shroom:Issue 202/The 'Shroom Spotlight
Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
The new year is finally upon us! I hope the time between the last issue and now wasn't too stressful for any of you. Let's start off the year right by fulfilling all six of this month's focuses. Or at least fulfilling most of them, that sounds good too. But first, let's go over last month's focuses.
It was a pretty good month! Crosstan81 (talk) cleaned up the Mario Kart Tour section of History of Princess Peach, Sparks (talk) added the image showing the interior of the Fluff-Puff Peaks Cabin, BMfan08 (talk) added the final few music samples for SNES Rainbow Road (theme), and Crosstan81 and OmegaRuby (talk) both worked to reduce the size of Riverside Station's trivia section. The focus on The Super Mario Bros. Movie was not marked as finished, however RetroNintendo2008 (talk), Wonderman23 (talk), Derekblue1 (talk), and Orangemushroom (talk) all contributed to improve the section.

| It's time to tip the scales in favor of this article. It needs information regarding Donkey Kong Country Returns and its 3DS port, mainly on the level Weighty Way. | ||
| Let's go excavate Stonetooth Cave and bring back its most important resource. Not gold, treasures, or the Merfle, but an image of its fossils. | ||
| Despite the number of entries in this list, there are very few images to accompany them. I would very much love to see how the Super Mario franchise is represented in cinematic darlings like Firehouse Dog and Yogi Bear. | ||
| This article contains four whole unsourced statements: two involving alternate names for a Rocket Start and two involving the names of a failed Rocket Start. Even finding the source of one of the names would be a rockin' start. |
Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently forty-four that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2020, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years.
