RE:Diddy Kong in Mario Golf[edit]

I'm repeating what I said from my talk page to yours, just in case you didn't get the memo. First of all, when you make a new talk discussion, click the + button at the top of the talk page. This will automatically begin a new section at the bottom of the page. I'm saying this because you managed to start this talk at the top of my page instead of the bottom. It is universally accepted that new talk starts at the bottom. Secondly, it "is" mentioned on the Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour page, when it covers the playable characters here. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 21:09, 16 May 2018 (EDT)

Ah I didn't see that! I apologize for that, and I'm sorry about the situation on the Talk page. I'll remember to click + next time. I'm new to this wiki, so I'll try to be careful.--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 18:07, 17 May 2018 (EDT)

It's alright. Everyone makes mistakes, but over time, you'll improve! I've been through that process, too. I'm sure most people on this wiki have. It's not just you. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 20:27, 17 May 2018 (EDT)

True!--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 22:48, 17 May 2018 (EDT)

Italics[edit]

Hello. Please remember to format game and series titles in italics. To do that, you just add two apostrophes before and after the title (e.g. Super Mario Galaxy and Mario series, done by typing ''Super Mario Galaxy'' and ''Mario'' series, respectively). Thanks! I'll remember next time! Sorry about that!--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 11:51, 21 May 2018 (EDT)

Minor edits[edit]

Hi, just letting you know that if you make a flood of minor edits, you should mark them with the "This is a minor edit" checkbox just above the "Save page" button, as making too many minor edits to a page without marking them as such counts as a warnable offense. I'm sorry about that! I'll try to keep that in mind next time. Were you referring to the 5-Volt page?--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 19:09, 15 August 2018 (EDT)

Re: About the link on the Woman's head on that microgame page[edit]

Ah, I see. The thing is, there's really no connection between them (they are just disembodied heads, which is pretty common: a, b, c). Also, something important: people click links because they want to read more about the thing being linked, right? So having a link to Mario's face there is even kinda...deceptive. Bro Hammer (TalkCont) 22:14, 1 September 2018 (EDT)

Ah! Ok! If anything, they should make a page of disembodied character heads in general, but that's just my opinion!--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 00:22, 2 September 2018 (EDT)

That would be a generic subject at that point. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:26, 2 September 2018 (EDT)

RE: Blue Toad in SMS[edit]

None of them are the same character, even the NSMBW and SM3DW ones, as decided by the proposal I linked in the summary. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 19:55, 2 December 2018 (EST)

Ok. I think I understand now that the entire cast of Toad characters is more of a species than anything. Sorry for any trouble.--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 17:22, 4 December 2018 (EST)

RE: My Bigger Boo edit[edit]

It's pretty obvious that Bigger Boo is a Boo, and it just seemed like unnecessary flowery writing to me. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 13:19, March 30, 2021 (EDT)

I understand that, but since this is an encyclopedia about Mario that aims to be informative, shouldn't we at least address that it is such? I don't see why it's such a big deal.--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 13:32, March 30, 2021 (EDT)
As it is, the article already mentions that Bigger Boo is a Big Boo in the second sentence and the infobox, though it does so in a way that feels more natural. It also has the Boos navbox and category. Being informative doesn't mean we have to describe every single obvious detail. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad!
