Yes. All Mazda3 Hatchback models feature our SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 L engine. In Mazda3 2.5 S models, the standard engine offers up to 191 hp and 186 lb-ft torque. Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 Turbo models add a Dynamic Pressure turbocharger that boosts output to 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque when using recommended premium fuel. Mazda3 2.5 S Premium Hatchback models feature a SKYACTIV®-MT 6-Speed Manual Transmission. All other Mazda3 Hatchback models feature a SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-Speed Automatic Transmission with manual-shift mode and Sport mode.

Mazda3 2.5 S Hatchback Carbon Edition and all Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Hatchback feature i-Activ All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) as standard.
i-Activ AWD® provides functionality beyond that of a typical 4WD or AWD system. Unlike basic AWD systems that react to a spinning wheel, i-Activ AWD is always engaged and proactively monitors vehicle dynamics data in real-time to watch for variations in wheel loads that a driver may not notice. The system then automatically controls the distribution of torque to provide predictable handling when driving on unpaved roads or in difficult conditions.23
All other Mazda3 2.5 S Hatchback models have Front Wheel Drive (FWD) drivetrains to provide predictable handling and good fuel economy in most normal driving conditions.
