I see a list of namespaces with check-boxes on the "related changes" page, but I don't see a "select all" button for these check-boxes. Is it possible to search for changes in only one namespace without selecting all of the other namespaces manually?

There's "All Contents" and "All discussions" options in the Namespaces selection menu. There's also a "Exclude selected" option which would help you to exclude results from selected namespaces. Hope these would help you satisfy your requirement.
