Manchester City striker Erling Braut Haaland is one of world football's most feared strikers after his prolific form for Borussia Dortmund and the Norway national team earned a big-money move to England. Son of former City, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest star Alf-Inge Haaland, he was born in Leeds in 2000, before shooting to prominence at Norwegian club Molde. Haaland then starred for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria before moving to Germany, where he netted 86 goals in 89 appearances for Dortmund. A powerful, 6ft 5in striker, Haaland's physical power and superb finishing made him one of the hottest properties in football before City swooped to sign him in 2022.
