Fortnite is a free-to-play live service game that was launched by Epic Games in July 2017 and has gone on to become a cultural phenomenon.
Playable on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Fortnite was pulled from Google Play and the App Store in in 2020 when Epic Games added direct payment options to circumvent Apple and Google's 30% cut from in-app sales. There are workarounds if you want to play Fortnite on mobile, but officially, there's no word on Fortnite's return to the Google Play Store just yet. However Epic has said that the game is coming back to the App Store in the EU some time in 2024.
