This is such an excellent remake/remaster of the original Spyro trilogy. :D
Though one of the few things about this remaster that ****** me off was how the Gun-wielding Enemies (save the Cowboy T.Rexes) were censored...
**** CENSORSHIP! Why couldn't they have just kept the Guns for the Gnorc Soldiers instead replacing them with Paint Blasters like in Splatoon, that's like replacing the Guns the Dwarves in the Warcraft Games use with Horse **** Launchers.
And why replace the Scorch Bandits Muskets with Crossbows or Slingshots? No one would go on a homicidal rampage with a Musket FFS, they would likely miss their first shot, it would take a long arse time to reload, and by the time it's loaded and ready to be fired again, the Police would've arived already and perpetrator would either be arrested or shot.
It'd be great if someone made a Mod that replaces the Twilight Harbor Gnorc Soldiers Paint Blasters with Guns and the Scorch Bandits Crossbow/Slingshot with a Musket like in the original Games, then it'd be perfect.
Again, **** censorship in the arse, Video Games and other forms of medias don't cause people to be violent individuals, wake the **** up people.
Aside from that nitpick, this is still an excellent remake, I consider it to be worthy of other Game Remakes like Crash N'Sane Trilogy, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Resident Evil 1 and 2 Remakes, Outcast Second Contact, Oddworld Strangers Wrath HD, and Black Mesa. :)
Not just censorship but they got the level designs and character designs completely wrong. Thank God for user mods.
Also the fact a lot of cool level designs got replaced with dull ones, such as the cool checkerboard bridges in Sunny Beach, the unique turtle boxes designs, the floating army bases which was held up by a chain and the oil refinery in Twilight Harbor replaced with goop and paint guns. :/
We have a mod that makes Reignited completely accurate to the original trilogy, models, sfx, music (even unused prototype themes, voices and gameplay fixes.
