INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Exit any game you might be running and close Steam.
2. Move the folder called "models" to the following directory:
{WHEREVER STEAM IS INSTALLED}\SteamApps\{YOURUSERNAME}\team fortress 2\tf\materials\
If this directory tree does not exist beyond the "tf" or
"materials" folder, you must manually create the folders.
For example, my directory tree looks like:
C:\Program Files\Valve\SteamApps\ScM_Minus\team fortress 2\tf\materials\models\player\hvyweapon\hvyweapon_red.vtf
3. Boot up the game, join a server, and hold your mouse over the
Heavy to make sure the skin worked.
DESCRIPTION: This is a pair of replacement skins for the Heavy
Weapons Guy. It gives his pants a camouflage design. I intended
to make it easier to distinguish the BLU Heavy from the RED Heavy
from a distance, but I'm not sure it made much of a difference
in that regard. It looks cool though.
BUGS: Playtested and proven to work. No problems discovered yet.
COMMENTS: If you prefer to have the RED Heavy camo'd but not
the BLU one, or visa versa, it is a simple matter to delete whichever
.vtf you prefer not to see. The other will function fine.
NEXT PROJECT: I will be fixing up my Sharkmouth Sentry skin. I
found a bug in the conversion tool I was using to make my .vtfs.
I will also be creating a new skin for the BLU team to pair with it,
as I finally thought up an idea that might work.
LEGAL: I'm not sure what claims of copyright I hold to it, if any, but
consider this to be a formal request to not share or upload this skin
to any website for distribution. I encourage spreading it amongst your
friends, but I request no other form of wide distribution other than
linking to it's page at Halflife2.filefront.com . Thanks.
