Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.
Light Infantry means "skirmishing" infantry. All modern infantry are light, nothing to do with the armor....(some are "mechanized" but it's only means they travel in APC or LAV and fight alongside them...
i too think the armor is too heavy, its the kind of heavy that GDI would do, seriously i would use the same model for GDI infantry, and Nod should not be using the same stuff as GDI, EA determined that militants would be wearing hoodies because the faction was a terrorist faction that couldnt and wouldnt spread its wealth of technology to all its military, militants with were spammable cannon fodder, and the hoodies excentuated their role as cannon fodder, and if you look at their health stats (which is 40 hp) its pitiful, not significant of having any armor at all
however i do think nod would be willing to distribute heavier armor to areas they are more concerned with, like Sarajevo, possibly Australia, or perhaps to bases equipped with nukes
One of the only two left. And if I remember zone distribution correctly, it's the bigger one too.
I hate the militia with a burning passion. It's basically an encouragement for massed numbers. And that goes directly against the Brotherhoods preference of subtlety over brute force.
If anything, they should be just as capable as GDI infantry with the added bonus of being able to bugger off easier when things go tits up.
The zone distribution is not the same as in TW. During TA, there are 4 what you could call superpowers. GDI, the 2nd smallest one, controlling about 20% of the planet - the green zones, Nod, the largest at 40%, Scrin at 30%, mutants at 15%, and the rest uncontrolled or controlled by minor factions.
Now, you can't really call the mutants a superpower, but they almost rival GDI if they pull themselves together. And scrin aren't a superpower in that sense either, but they still control more of Earth than GDI does :P
THESE ARE AWESOME!
Armor seems too heavy for light infantry
Nah, I think its perfect! :D

EA determined wrong. Because Nod isn't a bunch of terrorists, they are a fricken superpower.

Simply amazing. Is red a housecolour or default for infantry?
Maybe add to red some "red cammo" style?
any animations yet?
...
These are all animated, as one can quite clearly see even in these still images.
as I should have noticed...
