This helpful chart illustrates the concurrent events associated with the Second Advent of Christ. i.e. that the resurrection of the just (and unjust) dead, the judgment of all mankind, and the renewal of the entire cosmos will all occur at a point in time: the time of Jesus' return; the day of the Lord.
The majority of the scriptures provide ample evidence that at the 2nd coming of Christ, He will judge the world in righteousness (Ps. 9:8, Ps. 96:13, Ps. 98:9, Acts 17:31). He will come as a thief in the night and that it will be public and visible to all men, and that He will then judge men to their eternal state (Matt. 24:36-39, Matt. 25:31-46, I Thess. 5:2-4, 2 Thess. 1:7-10, Rev. 1:7, etc.) This is the framework of the 2nd coming. At His coming, or on the Day of the Lord He will judge the world and it will be final. Then He hands the kingdom to God the Father and we are with Him forever and ever.
