Asquare84: Shouldn't cost you more than 5k to scan only and get you any error codes. If you use honda, take the car to Oyingbo in lagos. That is the home of honda mechanics. |

Did those lights come up at ones or at different point in time? If they come out at ones , I assure you , treating them individually would be a wrong approach |

Is the vehicle a v6? Does the transmission shift properly? Have you scanned the ECU with a high end scanner? |

Robyn2: Let them check the VSA fuse first and the ABS sensors on thr 4 wheels before changing the ABS, I heard this could also cause those lights to come on. |

Your car is touring v6 or 4? If 6 I had the same issue fixed recently in my touring. The ABS modules you have been getting are not compatible with v6 touring. The ABS in V6 touring controls the radar, FCW, VSA, HILL ASSIST, LDW, cruise control. So it is entirely different from your regular honda's. I fixed mine in Abuja for 350k. |

Robyn2: If you're in Lagos contact roadside assistant by going to www.requestmechanic.com click the red circle "click on Request Now" button to get immediate assistance . Also enter your email to join the waitlist bar and click on join the the Wait list. It's definitely concerning that multiple warning lights are still on in your 2013 Honda Accord Touring, even after replacing the ABS module. While the ABS light being off is a positive sign, the LDW, FCW, ACC, and tracking lights remaining lit indicate further issues with the car's safety systems. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and address the remaining lights: 1. Decipher the Error Codes: When you scanned the car, did it provide specific error codes alongside the "ABS module" message? Knowing the exact codes will allow for a more precise diagnosis of the problem affecting the LDW, FCW, ACC, and tracking systems. 2. Check Sensor Connections: The malfunctioning systems listed rely on various sensors like radar, cameras, and wheel speed sensors to function properly. Double-check that the connections to these sensors are secure and undamaged. Consult the workshop manual for your specific Accord model to locate the sensor positions and connector details. 3. System Calibration: Replacing the ABS module might require recalibration of related systems like LDW, FCW, and ACC. Some Honda models have a self-calibration procedure, while others might require specific tools and expertise from a qualified technician. 4. Consult a Mechanic: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's best to seek professional help. A qualified mechanic with experience in Honda vehicles can perform a thorough diagnosis using specialized tools and equipment. They can pinpoint the exact problem affecting the remaining warning lights and recommend the appropriate repair solution.

bebiat: I am having the same issue now, mine is the V6. All lights are on, tried changing the ABS but none has been compatible with my car. I have tried ladipo and Oyingbo in lagos. Did you have to change your entire ABS module? I don't know if it's also possible to fix the broken ABS module |
Re: Honda Accord All Light On Dashboard by iamDozzy(m): 10:47am On Apr 26, 2024 |
If all the lights came on at once. Check the battery and alternator FIRST. If the problem is not from there, then there is a bad sensor somewhere. DO NOT FIX ALL OF THEM INDIVIDUALLY |
Re: Honda Accord All Light On Dashboard by cardoctor(m): 8:17am On Apr 29, 2024 |
The ABS unit may have been replaced at some point. (Probably due to a collision cos they dont easily get damaged) The unit on your car is not compatible to your car's spec. It has to be identified to that specific chassis number and reprogrammed to your car. Get ready to spend o if you really need this problem properly resolved. Car-doctor |

kingreign: Hi Kingreign. Mine is a 2014 v4 Accord (Lagos). I’ve traction light, check engine, steering wheel, LDW, FCW lights on (plus FCW failure flashing in the centre panel). Before this happens the forward collision light on the windshield would flash and minutes later all the error lights on the dashboard come on. First time mechanic scanned it he got a camshaft position error (camshaft was changed recently), he said he needed to program to ECU to recognize the camshaft then he cleared the code. It came back next day. I’d another mechanic scans it, he repositioned the camshaft but FCW and LDW stayed on. This he said was tied to the ABS and resurfacing something about the Tyre. (TPMS has always been on, something about the sensor replaced by a valve so o need to revert to a sensor instead). He did it and lights went off. They are back in the next day. I don’t like the trial and error these men are doing and Honda’s forum suggest way too many reasons for this from battery/alternator to sensors and plugs. What do you think is the problem as I'm uncomfortable driving a car lit up like a Christmas tree and camshaft position error still persists in all scanner results. Cc @Gazzuz |
