NINR issued a Notice of Intent to Publish (NOITP) a funding opportunity that will fund multidisciplinary teams of experts in firearm injury prevention research to develop and provide research resources and support to build capacity among United States nurse researchers for rigorous, high-impact research in firearm injury prevention aligned with the NINR mission and scientific framework.
A new training program at NINR is working to ensure that nurse researchers have the skills and expertise needed to incorporate a social determinants of health perspective in their work.
