How long does the offer last?
The $39 or $46.50 price will be available for 12 months from date of sign up unless the customer changes/recontracts to an ineligible plan or cancels their plan (in which case the offer will be forfeited).
Can I add a phone to an Optus Choice Plus Promo Plan?
Absolutely! You can add a phone to your new SIM plan – you can pay for it outright, pay it off interest free over 12, 24 or 36 months, or bring your own.
How do I keep track of my usage?
We'll send you usage alerts once you've reached approximately 50%, 85% and 100% of your shared included domestic data (in Australia only).
You can update your preferred method of receiving usage alerts and service notifications any time by visiting My Account.

What happens if I go over my plan’s included data?
With our Endless Data feature, once you reach your shared data allowance, all services that share data on your account will continue to use data at maximum speeds of up to 1.5Mbps. A speed of 1.5Mbps is suitable for general internet browsing and music streaming, however some activities such as video streaming may see increased buffering and loading times.
We'll also send you usage alerts at 50%, 85% and 100% of your data limit - and, you can always see how your usage is travelling in My Optus App.
Can I add more data with these new Optus Choice Plus plans?
Data Add-ons and Unlimited Data Day are available for these plans and can be added in My Optus App or My Account.
Can I change my plan?
Yes because our plans are month to month you can change your plan monthly. You can view and change your plan via the My Optus app. However, if you cancel or change/recontract your plan to any plan other than the $52 Optus Plus Promo Plan or $62 Optus Plus Promo Plan, you will forfeit the 12 month special offer.
What is Data Sharing?
If you have more than one eligible plan that shares data on the same account, the included monthly data allowance will combine and be shared by all eligible services on that account. This data can also be shared with any existing Data Sharing plan. Any unused data in the account expires at the end of each payment cycle.
What identification details do I need when ordering the phone?
Whether you're ordering online on the phone or in store, make sure to have your ID and employment details handy as we'll need them for the credit check to process your order.
Am I able to change my delivery address after I've made an order?
Once your order has been processed you won't be able to change your delivery address, so make sure to put in the correct address when placing your order.
Can I change the colour or size of the phone I've ordered after I've placed my order?
Once your order has been processed you won't be able to change the size or colour of your phone, so we recommend you double check prior to submitting your order.
Do I need to be there when my phone is delivered?
Yes, we'll need you to provide Proof of ID and sign for your device when it's delivered. If you miss the delivery, your device will be delivered to the closest post office for you to pick up
Can I use roaming if I am planning to go overseas on these new Optus Choice Plus plans?
Yes, you can roam within Zone 1 destinations. You will be automatically charged via card upon first usage in an eligible destination. To see eligible destinations and more information Optus International Roaming.
