Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Liz Osborne is joining the firm as a partner in the Restructuring Department and head of European Restructuring, resident in London. Liz advises companies and creditors on stressed and distressed investments, including special situations financings and complex restructurings.

Osborne, recognized as a top restructuring lawyer by Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK, regularly works on some of the largest cross-border restructurings in the market. Osborne has represented Fortenova Group, a food producer and retailer in Croatia and the surrounding region, on issues arising from sanctioned Russian debt and equity holders in its capital structure; an ad hoc group of unaffiliated lenders on the restructuring of healthcare provider GenesisCare; the senior lenders group on the financial restructuring of nursing care company Alloheim; an ad hoc group of convertible noteholders of the restructuring of Ozon Holdings PLC, Russia’s largest e-commerce platform; Sungard Availability Services LP and its affiliated North American entities on the English law aspects of its restructuring transaction; and more.
Osborne earned a B.Sc. from the University of Exeter, England, and her L.P.C. from Nottingham Law School. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
