How does it work?
The Finishing Touches process is simple.
When you reserve your new home, your sales advisor will provide you with our handy brochure and discuss which features you would like to include. They will then arrange a follow-up appointment when you are ready to make your choices.
Your chosen Finishes Touches items will be added to your home at various stages of the building process. This means that the earlier you reserve your plot, the greater the selection available to you.
And if you have a budget in mind, our appliance packages each have a selection of complimentary extras at an affordable price – allowing you to customise your home, and save money.
Kitchen and Bathroom
From worktops to flooring, enhance your kitchen with our range of styles, colours and finishes. And for extra practicality, add upgraded and integrated appliances, or additional features such as tiles, task lighting and electrical points.
With beautiful tiling options, efficient radiators, heated mirrors and a range of shower models, you can design your perfect place to unwind with our choice of bathroom upgrades.
Home office and bedroom
With spacious cupboards in a range of colours and styles and additional options for electrical points, turn your spare room into a bespoke workspace with our Home Study range of fitted desks and storage.

Each feature, upgrade or add-on is available in Standard, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. This gives a variety of styles and levels of upgrade, so you can choose exactly the finish you want for your new Persimmon home.
Upgrades
Our selection of upgrades is available on items that are fitted as standard, and we install your choice of upgrade ready for moving day.
Add ons
An add-on item is one that isn’t fitted as standard to your new Persimmon home, and you can choose to add it through Finishing Touches.
Our top tips for your Finishing Touches appointment
- It's all about timing! The earlier you make your choices the better, as there's usually a knock-on effect on electrics and plumbing. As a guide, all choices need to have been made by the time your roof is on.
- After you've browsed our options, it's a good idea to jot down your favourites ahead of your Finishing Touches appointment, along with any questions you might have. And at your appointment, you'll be able to see a whole host of samples and swatches, so you can make the best choice for you.
