About Rosie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ROSIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Looking for a cute, cuddly, confident pup with just the right amount of sweetness? Then you can’t go past adorable Miss Rosie!!
Recently rescued from our local pound, where she’d been surrendered through no fault of her own, happy-pup Rosie has settled in well into foster care where she’s having a wonderful time with her carers own little dogs. She’s good with the household cats and isn't fazed by their chooks or miniature horses – we don’t think she has a mean bone in her cute little body. She absolutely thrives on snuggles and being with you and would be quite content with being a lap dog – speaking of which Miss Rosie enjoys watching tv and will tilt her head this way and that as she takes it all in; it’s rather funny to watch! While in care Rosie is learning to “sit” and as she’s quite food orientated training is proving to be easy though she will need some practice at walking on a lead in her forever home as she’s currently being fostered on acreage where one isn't required. \ Good pup Rosie isn't a chewer or a digger and isn't at all yappy or in your face, in fact she’s quite the perfect, placid little pup!

Gorgeous Rosie’s fur may look wiry though it’s actually incredibly soft – it must be the Shih Tzu in her. She also has a slight underbite which our vets suggest a diet of dry food only so her front teeth don’t grow too long. She is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep her coat in tip-top condition. \ She doesn’t appear to lose a lot of hair but does lose some and she will need her feet and the hair around her eyes trimmed every now and then as that’s where her fur tends to grow longer. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make Rosie very happy indeed!
As Rosie is already toilet-trained she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own so long as she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company and isn’t suited to being in a backyard on her own while you’re at work all day.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
