Did Firefighting Crew Observe TOP SECRET AIRCRAFT at Dugway Proving Grounds?

"An aircraft, like nothing I have ever seen, flew by us at maybe five hundred feet. It was flat black and sort of rectangular but with fins and wells on the underside."

I received the following account:

"In 2013 I was on a wildfire fighting crew just south of Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah. We were in fire rigs driving to the incident area, four trucks in close convoy, when we heard helicopters. Eight black military choppers escorted us in formation for like ten miles, we assumed they were just doing drills and using us for fake target practice or something.

A little while later we were parked and about to start hiking to the fire line when suddenly a thin column of smoke shot probably about two hundred feet into the sky. It was a good mile away but the concussion was pretty significant when it hit us and the noise was still ridiculously loud. We thought it was probably no big deal, we knew we were near a strike zone.

A good five minutes later an aircraft, like nothing I have ever, seen flew by us at maybe five hundred feet. It was flat black and sort of rectangular but with fins and wells on the underside. It was moving pretty slow and was dead silent so I have to assume it was some sort of stealth glider. It sounds ridiculous but it immediately reminded me of a huge, flying bat mobile, Tim Burton era. Below is a similar image.

After that, some military personnel got on our radio frequency and instructed us to leave the area immediately. When our crew chief asked who it was and why they signed off and the Incident Commander (the guy in charge of managing the entire situation) came on the radios and said we were evacuating the area. They sent us to a completely different fire about a hundred miles to the south and never told us why except that it was a higher priority which was BS. It was already out when we got there and we just assisted crews in the mop-up operation.

The thing that confuses me about this is that if the Army didn't want us to see that or if it was dangerous why didn't they keep us clear of the area in the first place? Either a communications breakdown or they had a now bad situation going down and had to get us out of there without warning." U

SS OURANG MEDAN: Ghost Ship Mystery or Urban Legend?

The SS Ourang Medan was a reported ghost ship from 1948 near Indonesia. The vessel was supposedly discovered adrift after briefly broadcasting an SOS.

In February 1948, macabre distress calls were picked up by numerous ships near Indonesia. The chilling message was, "All officers including the captain are dead lying in the chartroom and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead." This message was followed by indecipherable Morse code then one final grisly message... "I die."

Through triangulation, the ships identified the vessel as the Dutch freighter SS Ourang Medan and located its approximate position within the straits of Malacca. Of the two American merchant ships that heard the Ourang Medan’s grim message, the 6,507tn Silver Star was the nearest and she raced to the aid of the stricken vessel.

When the rescue vessel arrived on the scene a few hours later, they tried to hail the Ourang Medan but there was no response to their hand and whistle signals. A boarding party was sent to the ship and what they found was a frightening sight that has made the Ourang Medan one of the strangest and scariest ghost ship stories of all time. All the crew and officers of the Ourang Medan were dead. As a May 1952 report of the Proceedings of the Merchant Marine Council put it: “Their frozen faces were upturned to the sun, the mouths were gaping open and the eyes staring…” Even the ship's dog was dead, found snarling at some unseen enemy. A trip to the communications room revealed the author of the SOS messages, also dead, his hand still on the Morse sending key, eyes wide open and teeth bared. When nearing the bodies in the boiler room, the rescue crew felt a chill though the temperature was near 110°F. Strangely, there was no sign of wounds or injuries on any of the bodies.

The decision was made to tow the ship back to port but before they could get underway, smoke began rolling up from the hull. The rescue crew left the ship and barely had time to cut the tow lines before the Ourang Medan exploded with such force that she "lifted herself from the water and swiftly sank”.

To this day, the exact fate of the Ourang Medan and her crew remains a mystery. Some say that pirates killed the crew and sabotaged the ship, others claim that she was transporting an illicit cargo of chemicals such as potassium cyanide and nitroglycerine (both of which become dangerous when combined with sea water). The condition of the bodies found aboard and the haunting distress call, however, has led to more rampant speculation...ranging from the inhalation of carbon monoxide to some kind of nefarious UFO intervention. In the end, nobody really knows what happened.

Then again, did the Ourang Medan ever concretely exist? The first mention of the Ourang Medan was in a publication put out by the US National Coast Guard. One would think that meant sources were well documented. But perhaps this isn’t the case.

Several authors note their inability to find any mention of the case in Lloyd’s Shipping Register. Furthermore, no registration records for a ship by the name of Ourang Medan could be located in various countries, including the Netherlands. While some investigators of this case state that the identity of the Silver Star, which was reported to have been involved in the failed rescue attempt, has been established with some certainty, the lack of information on the sunken ship itself has given rise to suspicion about the origins and credibility of the account. Other researchers have put forward the possibility that accounts of, among others, the date, location, names of the ships involved, and circumstances of the accident might have been inaccurate or exaggerated, or that the story might be completely fictitious.

What really happened to the Ourang Medan? Did the ship ever exist? No record of it anywhere would certainly seem to indicate that it didn’t. Was there a cover-up because of top-secret cargo? Until a specialized scuba crew can reach the supposed wreckage the only ones who know for sure rest at the dark bottom of the sea.

6-FOOT HIGH TOILETS! Are the Lower Levels of DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Housing GIANT BEINGS?

A reader contacted me about an account that was told to him. The Denver International Airport has been the source of various strange events since it was built.

"Hi, Lon. This is a 3rd hand account. I was not there, I did not know the person who had this experience. I've no proof, I've never been to the area. But when my co-worker told me of this account she was physically shaken while telling me. My health is changing and I want to get my experiences out there so someone may find use for them.

I was told this about 1991. I was the Charge RN of an AIDS/HIV 55-bed inpatient unit. One of our nurses had moved to town from Denver, Colorado, and was employed at our facility. Over time we became friends and talked about our lives. I could tell she wanted to tell me something for a long time but never pushed her. I let her open up when she was ready.

I had no interest in UFOs at all but working in this facility we all had spirit encounters. The building we were in was an old nursing home, so speaking of things we saw there was common with all of the staff. She told me what had happened to her boyfriend in Denver one day, and again and again over time, she was so disturbed about it.

He did some type of construction work. At the time, this would have been the late 1980s, and he was working in the lower levels where the Denver Airport would have been at the time.

One night he came home shaken and told her he got in big trouble at work. He was working in his section which he was not allowed to roam around but had designated areas he could only be in and there was security around to make sure. That day security was lax and he wandered down some hallways finding other hallways that were huge, wide, and tall. The doors in the hallway were very tall, unusually tall with high door handles, and were difficult to open. One door was slightly open and he went in. It was a restroom.

Rows of stalls like any restroom except the toilets were 6 feet tall. White porcelain like a regular toilet but massive in size, he could not see the top of the toilet. Across from the stalls was a table, he had to get against the opposite wall to see what was on it, there were large faucets and handles, there was a washing sink, no mirror on the wall.

Security suddenly came in and grabbed him, taking him back to his designated area and lecturing him that he knew he was not to leave his area. That night he told his girlfriend what had happened and he was fearful he was in trouble. Who would need such huge toilets? The next day they both left for work, at night she came home and he was not there yet. She never saw him again. His keys, dog, clothing, and everything were still at the apartment but he and his Jeep were missing. Later the Jeep would be found abandoned out of town. He was never found, his family never heard from him, and there seemed to be little investigation into his disappearance. She waited at the apartment for a year hoping he'd return, but no one heard a word from him.

She moved and still never heard a word, and neither did any of his family. She would tell me this story again and again, very upset and scared. She later moved off and I lost track of her but never forgot her account and how she'd get so upset telling this story to me. Years later I heard rumors of things going on under the Denver Airport. Who knows what's going on and who would use 6-foot toilets?" T
