Our world is becoming increasingly complex and unpredictable. At our faculty, we welcome this complexity because we want to explore and understand it – system by system and in their mutual interaction. We offer an optimal space for experimentation with open access to our technology centers. First-hand research right from the start is the ideal basis for a successful career – in co-creation with internationally renowned experts in top-notch laboratories, some of which are highly specialized. Our research is as diverse as nature and us humans. The broad diversity of small, highly active groups is what makes our faculty so lively and dynamic, and as the largest faculty at PLUS with over 4000 students. Our research questions are derived from the relevant problems of our time, and we also welcome the unforeseen. This is how we face up to our responsibility for tomorrow and look forward to all those who want to engage in complexity with us.
