OpenShift Dedicated lets you take advantage of native Google Cloud services, supports a flexible billing model, and can be purchased with your existing cloud committed spend discounts.

What does Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated include?
Each Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated cluster comes with a managed control plane (master and infrastructure nodes), application nodes, installation and management by our 24x7 Red Hat site reliability engineering (SRE) team, premium Red Hat support, and cluster services such as logging, metrics, monitoring, notifications portal, and cluster portal.
How does Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated address regulatory compliance?
Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated addresses security and compliance needs comprehensively with industry-specific standards and regulations such as HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, PCI DSS, SOC 2 Type 2, and SOC 3.
Will I receive an invoice from my cloud provider?
There are two models available for OpenShift Dedicated purchased directly through Red Hat. In the Standard pricing model, Red Hat manages payment and support with the cloud infrastructure vendor. The customer will only need to interact with Red Hat. In the Customer Cloud Subscription (CCS) model, a customer will pay the cloud infrastructure vendor directly for components and usage.
However, if you purchase OpenShift Dedicated through the Google Cloud Marketplace, you will receive a single invoice for both the OpenShift license and Google Cloud infrastructure for streamlined billing.
Can my organization use its Google Cloud committed usage to purchase OpenShift Dedicated?
Yes, you can purchase OpenShift Dedicated through Google Cloud Marketplace and leverage your committed use discount (CUD) with Google Platform Cloud. OpenShift Dedicated on Google Cloud Marketplace will be counted as a 100% decrement of your organization’s existing Google Cloud CUD.

How is Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS different from Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated?
Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS is a fully managed implementation of OpenShift Container Platform deployed and operated on AWS, jointly managed and supported by both Red Hat and AWS. This option is purchased directly through the AWS console and offers pay-as-you-go, single-vendor invoicing. It's best for organizations that want close integration to AWS services, joint support, and a single bill.
Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated is a service hosted and fully-managed by Red Hat that offers clusters in a virtual private cloud on Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform. It is completely managed and supported by Red Hat, and includes a guaranteed SLA. It may be best for organizations that already have a Red Hat footprint and are interested in a fully managed service from Red Hat deployed on AWS and GCP.
