RenderHub is a DMCA compliant operation. This means that when we receive valid takedown notices from © owners, we act accordingly and remove any infringing items brought to our attention. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please submit a Notice of Claimed Infringement.

Because of how the DMCA Safe Harbor provision works, and because of the realities of any open marketplace, we do not pro-actively police potential © infringement. We can only work in a responsive mode. The burden to not infringe falls to our vendors -- the individuals who create and place models for sale on our site.

Procedure for Making Copyright Infringement Claims:

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and it is accessible on this site, you may notify our copyright agent, as set forth in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"). To be effective under the DMCA, a notification of claimed infringement must be a written communication provided to RenderHub's designated agent that includes substantially the following:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit the RenderHub to locate the material.
Information reasonably sufficient to permit RenderHub to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
The above information must be submitted as a written notification to the following Designated Agent of RenderHub

Procedure for Submitting a Counter Notification:

If you believe a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, you may submit a Counterclaim Notice to our agent. A valid counter notification is a written communication that incorporates the following elements:

Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
Your name, address, and telephone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is located outside of the U.S., for any judicial district in which RenderHub may be found; and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Upon receipt of a counter-notice, RenderHub will comply with the provisions of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
