Green Sign Vinyl

The color green has a range of  us physical and emotional effects. At its most fundamental level, green is soothing, relaxing, and indicative of youth. Green helps alleviate anxiety, depression, and nervousness and also brings with it a sense of hope, health, adventure, and renewal, as well as self-control, compassion, and harmony.

In marketing and branding, it is often used to indicate safety in the advertising of drugs and medical products. Unsurprisingly is directly related to nature and agriculture, so it is also commonly used to represent and promote ‘green’ products. In different cultures green carries different meanings. For example green is the national color of Ireland and is commonly associated with good luck, leprechauns, clovers, and Saint Patrick’s Day. Green also has close ties with Islam and is the color of the religion.

Too much green can cause people to become placid, lazy, slow, moody, depressed, and lethargic. Too little green can cause feelings of apathy and fear of rejection.

Variations of the Color Green

Green Sign Vinyl for Your Machine

Irrespective of which type of professional or commercial vinyl cutter you own, you can be sure it will cut any of the Green Sign vinyl we sell. Listed below is a brief list of some of the more popular electronic cutting machines you can use with our vinyl:

In general, standard blades can be used with most varieties of Sign vinyl although we do recommend a 60 degree blade for reflective and glow-in-the-dark Sign films. As always, be sure to check your down force and speed settings before cutting any film types you have not used before to ensure optimal weeding

Client wanted an acrylic with their logo illuminated from behind. We took a 36x24x1/4" acrylic and skinned the complete backside with oracal 8800 translucent pin green. Then on the front we skinned it with 3m1080 matte black with their logo cut out of it creating a knockout effect. The results were amazing and the client loved it. Executive Printers of Florida.

We placed the front cap stripe and it’s a perfect match. Cutting the stripe using a rotary cutter was challenging but doable. Application went smoothly and looks great.
